 •    Your first draft script will be read for story, character, dramatic action and overall architecture.
 
•    The script is re-read at least twice: the first time to gain an overall impression.

•    I let the script work on me as it would affect any audience member encountering your work for the first time.

•    I put the script aside for a day or two to let it mature in my imagination, then go back at it from a rigorous craft assessment perspective.

•    I look at your command of the basics: the clarity and credibility of your story, the inevitability of your plot, your sense of conflict, mounting tension and rising action, your command of dramatic irony, your command of image, symbol and dramatic metaphor.

•    Are you aware of and employing the five basic dramatic structural elements, i.e., introduction, development, climax, denouement and resolution?

•    I assess your text to discover... Are you  in command of your characters or are they in command of you?                

•    Two week turn-around: from date of receipt to return.

•    I don't re-write your work: I work with you to improve what your have already written.  The work remains yours and yours alone in all its aspects.

•    I notate your PDF document extensively, and provide a separate five page report. (Hard copy assessment, via. regular post, also available.   Allow longer turn-around)

•    Scripts up to 20,000 words in length:$1,550.00 CAD*, plus taxes, where applicable.

•    Also available: Introducing your project to potential producers.  Writing the perfect query letter and one-page synopsis.
